Shayna's like her mommy in more than just her looks and attitude! She's going to be a big sister too! We're having another baby in February of next year. We're excited and so is Shayna - despite the look on her face in this picture and the fact that she has no clue what's comin'. Ha! :)
So, Kecia and Nicole both commented on how much Shayna looks like I did when I was little. I didn't think the picture of her eating breakfast really looked all that much like me, but I came across a photo of me when I was about three or four and I think that look must be the one Nicole and Kecia were remembering. I added another photo of me that I think looks a lot like Shayna does now. There are actually a lot of photos of me that look like Shayna. It's weird!!! But cool. I like having a little "mini-me" running around! :)
I guess I'm a bit of a clean freak. I don't think I'm THAT bad, but I've heard I am. So, I guess it's true that children mimic what they see. I started cleaning the wall behind Shayna's high chair and when I set the rag down, Shayna grabbed it and started cleaning too. I had to go get my own rag so we could work together. I catch her walking around "organizing" anything she can get her hands on. Of course, it's the opposite of what I call organizing, but it's pretty cute anyway. She does however, have the hang of what trash is and knows to throw it away in the garbage can. I haven't caught her throwing any non-trash items away (yet...).
