Jesus said: "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Colossians 1:20

"But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." Galatians 6:14

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; Colossians 2:14

"Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." 2 Corinthians 12:10

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

ONE GOD

Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Isaiah 44:6

Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. Isaiah 44:8

Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh ALL things; that stretcheth forth the heavens ALONE; that spreadeth abroad the earth by MYSELF; Isaiah 44:24

...who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Isaiah 45: 21

Look unto me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God and there is none else. Isaiah 45:22

Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is NONE LIKE me. Isaiah 46:9

... Believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Isaiah 43:10

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker!... Isaiah 45:9

Jesus Christ is God in the flesh:

Colossians 1:13-16 -"Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:" Colossians 1:19 - "For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;"

My Little Miss Shayna is NINE MONTHS OLD today!!! She's growing so fast. She's crawling like a champ, can wave "bye-bye", likes to stick out her tongue every time she see's herself in a mirror, likes to scrunch her nose and make sniffing noises when she hears us sniffing and every time she see's her Uncle Cade (she associates that with him for some reason!). She LOVES it when Mommy reads to her. She sits calmly on my lap and turns the pages all by herself. She loves to play with the remote control and our cell phones. She is a GREAT eater. She eats carrots, peas, squash, sweet potatoes, pears, bananas and rice cereal. She is still nursing and that, I would say is her FAVORITE thing to do. I don't know how I'm going to wean her by the time she's a year old, but she certainly can't nurse forever!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this little sweetheart!!

Okay, I'm pretty late with this post, but I have to post a few pictures and just say how WONDERFUL Christmas was this year. Having a little one of my own made it just that much more special. She had no clue what was going on, but it was fun to watch her little face as she tasted SUGAR for the first time and opened up (with help) gifts from her aunt Coley and aunt Katie.
